Arab social media report states that there is a 'virtual' gender divide as only one-third of the Facebook users in the Arab region are women in stark contrast to women being around half of the users globally. 2. Crowd funding is catching up with the Indian film-makers. Crowd funding is enabling entrepreneurs to raise money for your projects in an innovative manner. This concept started in France in 2004. Indian producers like Guneet Monga and Anurag Kashyap are pioneers of the Bollywood industry to resort to crowd funding.
