1. Thailand authorities want 10,000 pages deleted from Facebook. There are apparently 10,000 pages insulting the monarchy of Thailand on Facebook. The royal family is a very sensitive subject in Thailand and 83-year-old King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world's longest-reigning monarch, is revered as a demi-god by many Thais. In 2006, YouTube was banned in Thailand after they saw 20 videos offensive towards the monarchy. They were unblocked when Google assured that they would not show such internet content in the country. Facebook would also have to agree and get the pages deleted.
